American Thinker: Cloward and Piven
The stimulus bill, the omnibus bill, mortgage company takeover, the auto industry takeover, the banking industry takeover, government health care, and cap and trade–all are cogs in the strategy of the left called Cloward and Piven. There is a reason President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid press on with their health care plan even though over half of the country is against it. I have been skeptical in the past when someone says they are ruining the economy on purpose. Surely not. Do I really want to fall into that conspiracy theory?
This most recent senate push has convinced me, however, that they are desperate to get this through before the 2010 elections, not matter what the will of the people is. They have to know at this point that they are going to lose control of the legislative branch next year. Why are they so willing to do so? Why do they drive on with programs that will burgeon the deficit? Cloward and Piven.
Read the article below and pass it on. We have to fight harder than ever before, or lose our nation.

“Death Panels” may be a loaded phrase but the concern is legitimate. In the Oregon public health system ALREADY IN PLACE, people are being denied treatment and encouraged to consider assisted suicide
Here is another reason for you to go to http://votethemout.ning.com/ and join people in your state to vote out the government health care proponents.
We must not let up. The president is furiously trying to hide the truth but we all know that even a watered-down version of government health care interference will get their toe in the door for what they really want. Pass this link on and continue to fight. Invite friends to http://votethemout.ning.com/ .

An SEIU member in purple attends the Vic Snyder/Mike Ross town hall meeting in Little Rock. The woman on the right in wears a black shirt that had Barak Obama on the front and "OBEY" on the upper back, which you can make out in the picture. She was directing a man to video people who opposed the proposed plan.
On Wednesday in Little Rock congressman Vic Snyder canceled his public town hall meeting and hurriedly rescheduled for Thursday at a childrens hospital, surrounding himself with sick children to keep the tough questions away. Also in attendance were SEIU members (Obama’s foot soldiers) to counteract the regular citizens who were there. ARE YOU READY TO BE HEARD?
Begin taking action today by helping us find replacements for these Washington insiders who have forsaken the will of the people. It is easy to identify the ones that need to go–everyone who voted for the rushed stimulus package, omnibus bill, and bailouts–everyone who is pushing government health care and cap and trade. I need you help in finding their replacements in your state. Go to http://votethemout.ning.com/ and join. Once a member find your state flag and name and join that subgroup. Then invite your friends to join and let me know what candidates are conservative and will help RESTORE LIBERTY to the USA. I need your help so we can Vote Them Out In 2010.
Many of you are very active in your state and I am not trying to lure you away from any other group. On the contrary, you are the ones I want to help. Let me know what you are learning so I can promote your efforts and candidates. Join http://votethemout.ning.com/ and invite others to do so. We will post the results here as well.
Every day it becomes more likely that in 2010 we will end the free ride to socialism Obama is taking us on!

I apologize for my long silence. If you don’t mind indulging me a bit, this will be a more personal post. Part of my silence has just been due to the business of being a single parent of three in the springtime. Secondly, though, I have been in a time of personal decision as to where I am going to stand as a conservative in these very troubling times.
We have all been encouraged by the empowerment we get when we know that there are many like us that are outraged at the big government, big spending, liberty stealing agenda of the current congress and the Obama administration. Now that we are past our first round of tea parties the real work begins. Many are working to organize this movement into a legitimate force for changing the disturbing current political policies. Within this movement, as with any, there is a debate about what will be our key issues and where to focus our energies. Two main struggles right now are 1) what issues are non-negotiable and 2) what party receive our power and passion.
As I have talked with leaders of the different groups who have sprung up in protest, often debated is the issue of social conservative issues. Many in leadership fear that if we do not stick with fiscal conservative issues alone, we will weaken our movement. They feel that issues such as being pro-life and opposing gay marriage should not be a part of our platform. The feeling is that we will lose if these and other issues based on Judaeo-Christian values are a part of the agenda. Their belief is that if we just restore our liberty, we will all be free to worship as we please.
I have taken time to be quiet for a while and listen to the debate, and pray. Now it is more clear to me than ever that we must not bow to that pressure. The truth is that if we just restore liberty without standing for biblical values, none of us will get the freedom we seek and deserve. Indeed we may be in a time when Christianity is truly not the predominant religion of the United States of American. It is hard to say and hard to believe that we have come to this point in just 20 years. I think we are at a point of proof right now. If we do not stand, if we bow to a more secular approach, we have persecution in store as Christians have never seen in this country. My personal efforts must be based on conservative biblical values.
This leads to the question of party allegiance. Where do execute our efforts, influence, prayers, and resources? Well the prayers should be directed to all, whether we agree with them or not. The rest is up for debate. Many advocate staying on a platform of less spending, less taxes, and less government, while abandoning social conservative issues. This is prevalent on Fox News, in the tea party rhetoric, and in the Republican party. This will only lead to weakening our position.
The rise of a third party is not all bad but if we stay away from social conservatism, we will not be distinguishable enough from the Republican party. It is true that our modern day Republicans have been almost as bad as democrats when it comes to big spending and big government. Still, most Americans perceive them and “the conservative party”. Many tea party folks feel that most have totally lost faith in the Republican party. Many never were in line with the party and are Libertarians or Independents. Understand that I have attended the tea parties and supported their efforts. What many fail to realize, though, is that without Reagan Republicans and Democrats, they will not have the strength to win.
People–not just the tea party folks but everyday conservatives–need a clear and distinguishable choice. Third party candidates without a fiscal and social conservative message may very well split the vote as John Anderson did in 1980 and Ross Perot did in 1992 and 1996. At this point in time I am more in favor of taking back the Republican party. When I say Vote Them Out In 2010 I am not just speaking of the Democrats. If a Republican is spending like a drunken sailor and is scared to stand for Judaeo-Christian values, let’s vote him or her out. If we do not clean house in the GOP and the tea party movement produces someone who is both a fiscal and social conservative, then they deserve our support.
This is the stand I must take. I think that there are many silent people out there who agree. I hope that to hear from you and that you will be empowered to speak up. The wounded Republican party has been weak. Are we going to save it or let it die and start a new party? Either will be okay if it is willing to stand for the whole conservative body. As they say on TV, “What say you?”, I would love to hear.

Tens of thousands of citizens showed at well over 500 Tax Day Tea Parties across the nation yesterday. All 50 states had multiple cities participating, some totaling up to 15,000 in attendance. Republicans, democrats, libertarians and independents came together to tell their elected officials and the country there will be no more spending, no more taxes, and that if they continue we will vote them out in 2010. It is unprecedented that a U.S. president would face this kind of a reaction in his first one hundred days. This should get their attention, right?
So what was the reaction? We were dismissed and laughed at. Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs said they had no direct response to the protests. President Obama was reported as being “unaware” of the events. CNN reporter Susan Roesgen, at a tea party in Chicago, interviewed a participant and then proceeded to verbally attack him (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G3fvNhdoc0). She described the event as “anti-government”, and “not really family viewing”. MSNBC reporter David Schuster made blatantly lewd comments about “teabaggers” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELy61zkZHO0) as did CNN’s Anderson Cooper in a more subtle reference (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5xk88vmxbk&feature=related). So how do you feel about being the butt of their jokes?
Make no mistake, the president was very aware of your actions yesterday. You were heard. This is only the beginning of our movement and they know it. They are attempting to quell it now, hoping we will lose heart. Instead we must take heart. We have proven there are many of us. There are many more. As the effects of the president and legislature’s trillion dollar spending take place there will be even more. Now is the time to build on the momentum, join a local group, make a list of goals and put plans in action. The power of the tea party movement is that it is a grassroots movement. Vote Them Out In 2010 and many other groups are ready now to mobilize these patriots to bring about a return to the values and freedom that our founding fathers instituted. Join us.
